What is a whole-plant extract?

A cannabis product that preserves all the compounds present in the raw plant including, cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, waxes, esters, lipids, chlorophyll, etc. The word "whole-plant extract" is often used throughout the industry interchangeably with full-spectrum extract incorrectly.

It is easiest to remember that a whole-plant extract contains ALL of the compounds of a cannabis plant, including the non-therapeutic ones such as the final four above (waxes, esters, lipids, chlorophyll), while a full-spectrum extract only needs to contain the vital, therapeutic compounds.
