Why does Baked Bros use distillate?

Baked Bros has made the decision to use distillate over other forms of medication such as flower or RSO due to a variety of factors. Our focus on consistency is #1 on this list. We have to consider the variables in potency and different cannabinoid profiles between phenotypes, terpene profiles, differences between batches, differences between cultivators, and more! Our method of reintroducing the EXACT same profiles every time to our distillate ensures the same effects from our products without doubt.

Starting with a broad-spectrum distillate, we reintroduce flavonoids, minor cannabinoids, and botanically derived strain-specific terpene profiles, classifying them as full-spectrum. 

Full-spectrum cannabis products contain all the therapeutic compounds present in the cannabis plant including, cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids. Natural waxes, esters, lipids, chlorophyll, etc. are typically removed, but they don’t need to be for a product to fall under this category.

Distillate is the most consistent starting material for full-spectrum capable cannabis products on the market, and we want to be able to provide patients with the entourage effect with our edibles while at the same time be able to ensure they are consistent.
